Promoting community well-being and health through culture

The European Union and the Puglia Region agree that cultural welfare is the cornerstone of community growth—growth in the sense of cohesion, stability, sustainability, and well-being.
Cultural welfare, in fact, stems from the recognitionof the social impact of cultural investments and activities and points to a new integrated model for promoting the well-being and health of individuals and communities through practices grounded in the visual and performing arts and in the full understanding and enjoyment of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
