The Regional Multidisciplinary Circuit of Puglia, recognized by the Ministry of Culture, with its 75 member municipalities and the Region itself, curates and organizes around 80 seasons and festivals, with over 100 venues and spaces activated, 800 shows, and over 180,000 spectators per year, making it one of the leading regional circuits in Italy.
Since its foundation in 1979, the Circuit has been involved in the distribution, promotion, and education of audiences in the fields of prose, contemporary dance, music, contemporary circus, and theater for children and families, expanding cultural participation to include groups that are not usually involved.

In addition to its programming activities, the Circuit implements an important strategy for audience education and development, which is reflected in numerous projects. The goal is to grow the Apulian audience not only in terms of numbers but also in terms of awareness and quality: a pool that extends beyond economic, social, psychological, and physical barriers. Season after season, the range of collateral activities is enriched with theater workshops in the suburbs, training in schools, targeted courses in universities, ticket discounts, and special agreements.
In this blog, you will find interviews, presentations, and reviews of shows presented in Bari and other nearby cities during the Circuito Puglia Culture seasons. These writings are the result of a public education project created in collaboration with the new DAMS department at the University of Bari, as part of the theater criticism course taught by Massimo Marino. It is a workshop for observation, analysis, and critical review of the theater and dance performances that can be seen today.
Stefano Cristante.
Originally established as a theater circuit, in 2014 it was recognized by MiC as a Multidisciplinary Circuit for extending its activities to the main artistic disciplines of live performance.
