KURUMUNY, from the Griko word meaning “olive sprout,” pays tribute toPuglia’s symbolic tree and reflects the publisher’s mission. Since 2004, it hasfocused on regional history through oral testimony, anthropology,ethnomusicology, documentary studies and the social sciences.Over time, its scope has expanded to include fiction, poetry and world music.
