Manni Editore began its publishing activity in January 1984, founded by AnnaGrazia D’Oria and Piero Manni with the literary journal l’immaginazione,which continues to focus on literary research.Around the journal, a network of cultural relationships and interestsdeveloped, shaping a structured publishing programme. The first book,
published in 1985, was Segni di poesia/lingua di pace, an anthology on peacefeaturing major Italian poets.Today the publishing house releases around 50 titles per year, alongside itsjournal, covering literature, sociology, philosophy, anthropology, theatre andcinema, with particular attention to major national and international politicaldebates.
