Congedo Editore was founded in 1968 in Galatina (province of Lecce) byMario Congedo, following many years of journalistic experience in Italy andabroad.Its original aim was to create a reference point for scholarship, research andintellectual activity in Southern Italy, within a landscape dominated by largenational and international publishing houses.Nearly sixty years later, the mission remains ambitious: to act as a catalyst forideas, movements, innovation and research — transforming thought intobooks and entrusting volumes with the role of ambassadors that revealemotions, disseminate knowledge and offer new perspectives.
