Founded in autumn 1988, the Centro Studi Torre di Nebbia wascreated with the aim of establishing a Permanent Observatory for the UpperMurgia area in the province of Bari.Since its inception, the Centre has developed a wide-ranging programme ofactivities dedicated to raising awareness and promoting recognition of thearea’s environmental and cultural heritage. Its work has focused on theknowledge and protection of the Upper Murgia territory, identifyingdevelopment guidelines grounded in compatibility with the area’s natural andhuman resources.
