AnimaMundi was founded in 2002 as an independent publishing house and record label. From the very beginning, it has demonstrated a strong commitment to the sacred and to care. The publishing house seeks to give voice to the soul of the world through the words of poets, foremost among them Christian Bobin. Poets, writers, illustrators, and photographers have made it possible to produce books ranging from poetry to prose, from picture books to photography, and from essays—on philosophy, psychology, art, and pedagogy—to novels.
